Summer 2023 Placement Student

MMIC Design Engineer

We are always pleased to hear from suitably qualified candidates, in particular those who may be interested in one of the positions listed here. These would be based at our UK office and laboratories in Great Chesterford, 10 miles south of Cambridge.

Current Openings:

Summer 2023 Placement Student

We’re looking for a motivated undergraduate student with an interest in RF and microwave engineering, and with one year of their studies remaining after the placement has finished. Experience of Keysight ADS or AWR Microwave Office would be an advantage. The expected duration of the placement is 8 to 12 weeks, and the exact work will be tailored to the student’s level of experience and interests.

Typical projects include a mixture of design work using Keysight ADS and measurement work in our on-site clean room and laboratory. The student will be required full-time on site in order to fully integrate into the team and get the most out of the placement.

MMIC Design Engineer

An experienced MMIC design engineer with a minimum of 3 years relevant design experience. Successful candidates will have designed GaAs and/or GaN ICs on commercial or captive foundries. The role will include design, layout and RFOW evaluation work. Experience using Keysight ADS is preferred.
